The full day tour comprises 3 different activities starting out at 9 am in a hotel shuttle, through a route with plantations of different products and livestock farms to the Mirador 1968 Arenal in La Fortuna. This site offers an incredible and close view of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal at the same time. You can take a hike intermediate level of difficulty, approximately for 90 minutes and also enjoy the breathtaking view with a tropical drink from the observation hill, completing about 2 hour visit to the place, although it is always a customer decision how long you want to stay in each attractions.
The following site is 15 minutes away, getting to Eco Finca Don Juan located in El Burío. This farm is owned by a real farmer named Don Juan who will meet to start an entertaining and educational tour of all plantations, finding and tasting fruits that probably you did not know before! Also, he will tell you about medicinal and industrial benefits, or kitchen uses. Design site attracts all kinds of birds as a haven for them, while property is crossed by a small stream. The Eco farm has a mill to experience the traditional way to process sugar cane, enjoy a sip of cane liquor and conclude the visit in the dining room where Mrs. Yamileth (Don Juan’s wife) prepare their typical lunch with fresh, organic ingredients and healthy, same as they are cooked thanks to gas methane produced by the farm biodegester.
